The elegant wooden bungalows of the brothers Charles and Henry Sumner Greene were a influential source for the California Bungalow style. The brothers sought to make a unified home by designing most of the furniture and other decorative elements themselves. This superbly constructed chair from the dining room of the Robert Blacker house is inspired by the simplicity of Asian designs.
